Central Coast Day Hospital reached a significant milestone on 24 July, 2019 when it treated its 25,000th surgery. Dr Brad Townend (Surgeon), Dianne Durrington (Director of Nursing) and Sheryl Saillard (Business Manager) presented patient, Mrs. Woolcock, treated on the day, with flowers and gift card to mark the milestone.
Central Coast Day Hospital (CCDH) was established in August 2010 and is a state-of-the-art facility, specialised in providing a full range of eye surgery procedures including cataract, laser, vitreo-retinal, cosmetic, and plastic eye surgery. Our 25,000th surgery marks the progression of our facilities development since that time. Central Coast Day Hospital has consistently strived to enhance and improve patients’ lives and the continuing healthcare standards in the community.
